Meat Rabbit

We breed New Zealand Whites and Californian meat rabbits.

There are so many benefits to meat rabbits but you have to open your mind and learn about them before shutting down and saying, "Ew, I can't eat a bunny."




Rabbit meat contains the second highest level of protein source (second to grasshoppers), higher than beef or chicken.  Not only are they high in protein, they are low in fat, low in cholesterol, and low in calories.  Rabbit meat is a white meat that tastes like a very good quality chicken with a richer flavor.  Our rabbits are raised in a clean environment, fed high-quality Non-GMO rabbit feed, and are well taken care of.

Rabbits are an environmentally friendly choice of food.  They have a very little impact on the environment due to requiring so little space, food, and water, especially when compared to the requirements of beef and chicken.  The time from conception to harvesting is only 3 months and the amount of food they eat in that time is minimal.  Rabbits are one of the most productive domestic livestock animals out there.  They can produce 6 pounds of meat on the same feed and water as the cow will produce 1 pound of meat on the same feed and water.
